ROSA BONHEUR

Rosa Bonheur, artista francesa, fue una de las mujeres pintoras más influyentes del siglo XIX. Realizó escenas de la vida campestre, representación de animales y esculturas realistas. Su carácter fue rompedor para su época. Odiaba vestir como una mujer, se cortó el pelo y usaba siempre ropas masculinas que facilitaban sus movimientos. Pasaba horas observando animales para después plasmarlos en sus obras. 

Rosa Bonheur, French artist, was one of the most influential women painters of the 19th century. She made scenes of country life, representation of animals and realistic sculptures. Her character was groundbreaking for her time. She hated dressing like a woman, she cut her hair short and always wore masculine clothes that facilitates her movements. She spent hours observing animals to later capture them in her works.
