Natalia Goncharova

Natalia Goncharova formó parte de la vanguardia rusa anterior a la revolución soviética. En sus comienzos su obra estaba relacionada con el arte popular ruso, pasando posteriormente por una influencia del cubismo y el futurismo. Formó parte del grupo expresionista “Der Blaue Reiter”. Evolucionó posteriormente hacia el rayonismo, el cual desarrolló junto a Junto a Mijaíl Lariónov. Diseñó durante su estancia en París varios decorados para los ballets rusos. 

🇬🇧 Natalia Goncharova was part of the Russian avant-garde before the Soviet Revolution. In the beginning, her work was related to Russian popular art, later going through an influence of cubism and futurism. She was part of the expressionist group “Der Blue Reiter”. It later evolved towards rayonism, which developed together with Mikhail Lariónov. During her stay in Paris, she designed several sets for the Russian ballets.
